Introducing public updates

A public place to follow what we're building at Davner — the managed service that handles prior authorizations for healthcare practices.

Benjamin Lee, PhD

Co-founder & CEO

This is the first post in a new public space for updates from Davner.

If you're new here: Davner is a managed prior authorization service. Prior authorizations are the approvals payers require before a patient can get certain care, and they're one of the most time-consuming, error-prone parts of running a practice. Davner takes that work off the practice's plate. The request comes to us, and we handle it end to end — gathering the clinical record, building the submission, and filing it with the payer. The practice stays in control and can see exactly what's happening, but the work is ours, not one more thing for their staff to grind through.

We're building quickly, and most of that progress has been invisible from the outside. This is where it stops being invisible.

What you'll find here

Expect short, plain-English updates on what we've shipped and why it matters:

  • New capabilities that make prior authorization faster or more reliable
  • Improvements to how practices oversee the work we're doing for them
  • Notes on security, access control, and the things that matter when patient data is involved

We'll keep posts short and skip the parts that only matter to us. If something changes how Davner serves a practice, it's worth a few paragraphs here. If it doesn't, it won't crowd the feed.

Why we're doing this

Healthcare buyers are right to be skeptical of software that promises to fix prior auth. A lot of it overpromises and quietly underdelivers. The best way we know to earn trust is to show the work — consistently, in plain language, over time.

So that's the plan. More soon.

New to Davner?

Davner handles prior authorization work end to end.

We prepare submissions, follow up with payers, track status, and keep teams informed so approvals move forward with less manual work.
